Have been to Charleston by water on the fourth and it was fantastic. Cannot imagine doing stuff like that on a regular basis. Your sunset photos make me tear up. The sheer beauty of it…..

The glory of God! Beautiful! Can’t imagine what it’s like to live under that canopy most of the daylight hours day after day. Thank you for sharing your “stuck” story…amazing how you chose to react to the situation. Sounds like you saw it all through God’s lens. Very cool.
    Love you

    • Thanks Denise! Most of the time it is amazing living ‘outdoors’ but does have its moments. I was not such a happy camper with the start of the tilt – but once I gave the situation over and remembered that I am in His will . . . it was easy to make lemonade. Hope you are having a great summer!! – stacy

Old time method of cleaning the bottom or other hull work was to beach at high tide … tide out … do one side … next tide do the other. Called “careening” or doing a “hove down”. If not an emergency, good way to “save face”! Look forward to seeing you all again in St. Aug. and hearing all about your adventures. Bud

    • That is just what Nick kept reminding me of as we tilted more and more . . . and we were able to use the opportunity for just that!! We look forward to seeing you in St. Aug again too!!! -stacy
